What experience do I need to own a cat café franchise with Orlando Cat Café?

We welcome franchise owners with prior industry experience, but we don’t make it a requirement. If you believe charity and philanthropy can be powerful forces for positive change, are prepared to develop and train a capable staff (or have a trusted manager ready to step in and do the day-to-day work), and most importantly love cats and coffee, we’d love to talk with you.

What is provided as part of the Orlando Cat Café franchise program?

Orlando Cat Café Franchise owners and their managers will receive comprehensive training on the Orlando Cat Café business model, both in the classroom and on the job, at our flagship location in Clermont, Florida. When it’s time for your Grand Opening, our Orlando Cat Café team will travel to your location to make sure you are calm, confident, and excited when you open your doors. Owners will have access to the Orlando Cat Café Confidential Operations Manual for daily operations. Our team is available to assist you when you need us. We are always just a call or click away.

How much will the Orlando Cat Café franchise program cost me?

The estimated initial investment necessary to Open a Cat Café Franchise ranges from $424,188 to $663,629. This includes a $42,750 initial franchise fee. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

Is financing available?

We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.

Are there ongoing fees to pay?

We collect a royalty fee equal to 7% of semi-monthly gross revenues. Fees such as these allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of programs, marketing tools, training programs, recipes, and systems upgrades. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

Are there any advertising fees?

Franchise owners will be required to spend the greater of 2% or $1,500 monthly on local marketing. You will also contribute the greater of up to 2% of gross revenues or up to $1,500 monthly to the brand marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Orlando Cat Cafe brand and cover the creative costs to develop branded marketing materials and campaigns.

How long is an Orlando Cat Café Franchise Agreement?

The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.
